The CzechInvest Tokyo office has been offering its services to Japanese clients since 1998. CzechInvest serves as the main contact point for Japanese companies considering investment or business development in the Czech Republic and provide complex support covering all the aspects of investing overseas. Our services are available both in English and Japanese.
From 1993 up until nowThe Investment and Business Development Agency CzechInvest, has already arranged 130 Japanese investment projects in the total value of nearly CZK 124 billion (more than 5 billion USD) to create 28,000+ new jobs.
The overall number of 250 Japanese companies has decided to open their offices, manufacturing plants or R&D facilities in the Czech Republic. Companies as Toyota, Panasonic, Daikin, Denso, Toray, or Mitsubishi Electric belong among the most important employers in their regions, Konica Minolta operates an award-winning R&D facility in Brno, and Asahi Group Holdings takes care of brewing on of the most appraised Czech beer brands – the Pilsner Urquell.
Traditionally strong in Automotive, Electronics, or Engineering with close economic ties between the Czech Republic and Japan in these fields, our goal is to support further inflow of Japanese manufacturing excellency and R&D knowledge into our country – especially in high-value added fields as biotechnologies, nanotechnologies, and ICT – where Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, Olympus Medical Products, and Rigaku Corporation serve as great examples.
