More than 300 people already work at the new plant in Klášterec nad Ohří; the company will hire 100 more by the end of 2018

BENTELER opens its fifth factory in the Czech Republic

BENTELER held the grand opening of its new factory in Klášterec nad Ohří on Thursday, 12 April 2018. The new facility, which is the company’s fifth production complex in the Czech Republic, was put into operation at the end of 2017. Production in Klášterec is focused on hot-forming of steel parts, blanking, welding and laser-cutting for key customers Volvo, BMW, ŠKODA Auto and Daimler. BENTELER employs more than 300 people here and plans to increase that number to 400 by the end of 2018.

CzechInvest assisted BENTELER with its selection of a suitable location for expansion and in negotiations with the local authorities, as well as with consultations on possible financial support. In relation to its investment project costing CZK 2.5 billion, BENTELER will be able to draw investment incentives in the amount of CZK 480 million.

BENTELER Automotive has been operating in the Czech Republic for more than 20 years. In addition to its factory in Klášterec nad Ohří, the company also has plants in Stráž nad Nisou, Chrastava, Rumburk and Jablonec nad Nisou. The company employs 2,200 people in the Czech Republic.
