Developed Real Estate Market
Thanks to the continued interest of real estate investors, the Czech Republic can offer a highly developed and dynamic real estate market. The amount of office space is growing steadily. In Prague the supply of office space increases by between 160,000 and 200,000 square metres annually. A boom of office space building takes place in Brno where up to 160,000 office square metres should be finished in 2007. However, also other cities like Ostrava or Plzen are offering increasing amounts of office space.
CzechInvest is engaged in the field of business properties in order to increase the availability of production capacity for incoming investors - the Agency is implementing a government programme designed to support the development of municipal industrial properties and zones. In addition, CzechInvest operates an extensive database of business properties and assists with the regeneration of brownfields.
