Does your firm want to become a supplier to multinational companies? Do you want to improve all of your firm’s processes, but you do not know where to begin? If so, the Supplier Development Programme is right for you. Aid obtained within the framework of Supplier Development is not among CzechInvest’s new projects. CzechInvest has provided services focusing on the development of suppliers since 2000. However, there has been a change in financing; aid has hitherto been provided from either Phare funds or from the state budget. The current results of this support are clear: firms that cooperate with us within the framework of supplier development are much more favourably accepted as suppliers by multinational companies and are also more successful in selected proceedings organised by multinational companies. Participation is also positively reflected in the participants’ economic indicators – in past years we recorded labour productivity of 10% on average among suppliers; 15% average turnover growth and, most notably, 40% export growth. Supplier Development is not the only successful instrument in this area. Multinational companies consider this programme as a suitable supplement to their own development activities.
