Acceptance of applications to government visa programmes resumes

Embassies and consulates in individual countries are gradually resuming their visa agenda

The process of resuming the visa agenda of selected embassies and consulates is ongoing until 11 May 2020. An updated list of embassies and consulates that have renewed the visa agenda to a limited extent, including the scope of provided services, is available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Key and Scientific Personnel Programme and Highly Qualified Employee Programme
It is possible to submit applications within the Key and Scientific Personnel Programme and Highly Qualified Employee Programme at the following embassies and consulates:

From 1 June 2020, applications will also be accepted by the embassies and consulates in Kiev, Chisinau, Sofia, Tel Aviv, Ankara and Istanbul (Consulate General).

Highly Qualified Employee Programme
The Highly Qualified Employee programme will also partially resume. Applications for employee cards can be submitted in Lvov, Ulaanbaatar and Belgrade and, from 1 June 2020, also in Chisinau, though only for workers in social services and healthcare for the CZ-ISCO groups set forth below:

83223    Medical transport-service drivers
5321      Hospital attendants and workers in social services in the area of inpatient care
5322      Hospital attendants and workers in social services in the area of outpatient and field services and home care
5329      Personal care workers in the healthcare and social areas not stated elsewhere
