Establishment of a company
Choosing the right form of business is the basic and primary decision. Establishment of a company is regulated in accordance with Act No. 90/2012 Coll., on Commercial Companies and Cooperatives (Business Corporations Act).
The most common form of business is a limited-liability company (s.r.o.). For companies that want to issue shares, a more appropriate legal form is a joint-stock company (a.s.). Another important step is to open a local bank account and, if necessary, ensure visa obligation for the entry of the company’s employees into the Czech Republic.
Investment incentives are a financial-support tool provided by the state in connection with the establishment of new companies and the expansion of existing operations. Investment incentives can be used to support three main areas – manufacturing, technology centres and business support service centres. We provide consultations on investment incentives, as well as other services, free of charge. More information is available here.
