At the beginning of the 2021 an online meeting of leading representatives of the Czech and British space industry will take place with the aim of establishing long-term cooperation in this all-important area. The B2B Industry Day, which is divided into two main blocks, will include both representatives of the state institutions and the private sector. And the professional public will have a unique opportunity to participate in the morning meeting as well.
The objective of the event is to present the Czech and British space ecosystems and unveil the technological level of advancement and capacities in both territories. The webinar also seeks to bring together key representatives from private sector and find overlaps and areas for future cooperation.
The participation was confirmed by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and the Business and Investment Development Agency (CzechInvest). Representatives of the UK Space Agency, Harwell Space Cluster and British Embassy Prague will take part in the event on behalf of the United Kingdom.
The all-day schedule is divided into two main parts. While the morning will be devoted to the presentation of space capabilities and the investment environment, the afternoon blocks is reserved for B2B meetings and is intended exclusively for pre-arranged entities from the Czech and British space industries.
Participation in the morning block is suitable for British companies that are interested in getting acquainted with the contemporary development in the territories such as the capacity of domestic companies and institutions, national strategic plans, funding support or activities and projects.
With regard to the wide range of applications of space technologies, the opportunity to participate is also offered for companies (not only) belonging to the aerospace industry, IT, advanced materials or agriculture. The event is in no way limited by sector and is open to all those who are interested in the topic or are considering entering the sector as part of the diversification of activities.
