The TechCrunch Disrupt trade fair highlighted new trends in the areas of artificial intelligence and mobility

The prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt start-up event, which attracts technological innovators from around the world, took place in Berlin on 11-12 December 2019. Eight innovative start-ups from the Czech Republic – Ackee, Futured, Kooperace.cz, Leadspicker, Motionlab, Nulisec, Searpent and SmartGuide – attended the event, exhibiting at the national exposition.

Czech participation was organised by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Berlin, the Prague Start-up Centre and the Czech ICT Alliance. Milan Čoupek, the Czech ambassador in Berlin, welcomed the Czech delegation in connection with the accompanying programme.

The trade fair was focused on technological innovations and new trends in the areas of artificial intelligence, robotisation, information and financial technologies, and mobility. In addition to presentations of companies, the programme also included panel discussions and professional lectures.

Representatives of Berlin Partner and the German Chamber of Commerce (DIHK) spoke about the local start-up environment and gave advice on how to succeed on the German market. Czech government institutions operating in Germany, including CzechInvest, presented their services for Czech start-ups.
