The Rendez-Vous Forum 2021 organised by the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ) took place online from 16 to 19 February. The forum is a major Canadian event in the field of collaborative aerospace R&D and brings together hundreds of participants including industry leaders, university researchers, research centres and governments in order to kick off innovative projects aimed at transforming tomorrow’s air mobility.
This eleventh edition of the event addressed challenges as AI & Digital Aviation, Future Air Mobility and Sustainable Aerospace and presented 33 innovative projects in these areas. CzechInvest presented the Czech Republic’s aerospace research capabilities and opportunities for cooperation. Thirteen Czech companies participated in the forum and used the opportunity to express their interest in participating in proposed projects. Thanks to existing collaboration between the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR) and CRIAQ, project participants can apply for funding under TACR’s DELTA2 programme.
The Czech Republic supported the Rendez-Vous Forum as a Silver Partner. The participation of Czech companies was funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and organised by CzechInvest, the Czech Embassy in Ottawa and TACR.
