Oracle will create more than 100 jobs and open new offices in Prague in the next fifteen months. Development of the cloud-computing business has led the company to recruit new employees, particularly specialists focused on sales of cloud solutions. These new sales professionals will play a key role in the company’s growth in this region. Oracle announced its plans during a press conference on 14 January 2016.
“Central Europe represents a tremendous opportunity for Oracle and we are therefore focusing on hiring talented sales experts in order to take full advantage of this opportunity,” says Josef Švenda, general manager of Oracle Czech.
Besides Prague, recruitment of salespeople will also be carried out in five other locations, namely Amsterdam, Dublin and Malaga, Spain, as well as Dubai and Cairo in the Middle East. In addition to recruiting talented specialists from the above-mentioned locations, Oracle is also interested in hiring both experienced salespeople and candidates with less sales experience from the entire area for its new business centres.
