Thousands of investors, start-ups, technology enthusiasts and journalists will descend on Helsinki at the end of November 2019. Thanks to the MY-GATEWAY project, eleven start-ups from Central and Eastern Europe – particularly the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Romania, on which the MY-GATEWAY project is primarily focused – can now get free admission to the Slush Helsinki 2019 conference.
Start-ups can compete for the tickets worth several hundred euros if they fill out the registration form on the website of the MY-GATEWAY project. A jury will select eleven of them at the beginning of August. A condition of participation is that the start-ups must be at least in the seed phase, i.e. have a prototype and a prepared business plan.
“The MY-GATEWAY project supports top-level technologies and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises not only in the Czech Republic in fulfilling their innovation potential. Each of the project’s constituent activities helps them to apply themselves on the market, establish contacts at the regional and European levels and improve and increase the efficiency of their approach to financial opportunities and talent,” explains Kristina Toth, coordinator of the MY-GATEWAY project. “Thanks to the project, in recent months some Czech start-ups have become closely involved with other European start-up ecosystems, participated in the most important European technology events and gained possibilities of financing for their projects from national, regional and European Union sources.”
