Japanese companies request components, materials and technologies from Czech firms for their products

Representatives of Japanese companies met with potential suppliers from the ranks of Czech firms in the Holiday Inn Prague on Tuesday, 13 March 2018. During the event, Japanese manufacturers such as DENSO Manufacturing Czech, Panasonic AVC Networks Czech and Furukawa Electric Autoparts Central Europe demonstrated their products to the thirty Czech suppliers in attendance and requested from them components, materials and technological solutions connected with the Industry 4.0 initiative, particularly for the automotive, electronics, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering industries. The meeting was organised by the Prague office of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and CzechInvest with the purpose of bringing Japanese manufactures and Czech suppliers closer together, thus enabling Czech firms to become involved in the supply chains of major international companies.
