Eighth-graders from the Dukelských hrdinů Elementary School in Karlovy Vary visited the company WITTE Nejdek, spol. s r.o. on Monday, 25 May 2015. The manufacturer of lock systems for the automotive industry is the second biggest employer in the Karlovy Vary region.
The students were given a look at the company’s manufacturing operation, products, work environment and portfolio of customers. Representatives of the company presented to the students jobs for which there is demand and which have potential for the coming years. They also described how WITTE Nejdek, spol. s r.o. collaborates with secondary schools and universities, as well as possibilities to gain experience, including financial remuneration for students’ thesis work that the company can use in practice.
The excursion, which took place in connection with Investment Week, was organised in part by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
