In cooperation with a European Union delegation, the European agency EURAXESS Links India organised a meeting for students, science works and universities, which was held on 29 April 2016 in Chandigarh. The Czech Republic was represented at the event by Roman Pašek, project manager for R&D support at CzechInvest.
The event was focused on presentation of the European Union’s research space to researchers and students from Indian universities. Research grants and mobility programmes at the European level were presented. The participants also had an opportunity to speak with and get recommendations from researchers who had already taken part in various programmes and to meet with representatives of leading European research agencies and foundations.
In the course of the Indian mission, CzechInvest’s representative continued on to Delhi, where he also met with central institution of the Indian research and development system.
