The Europe after Brexit conference organised by ABSL was held in London on Wednesday, 9 November 2016. The event was attended by 80 representatives of the expert public who were drawn to the issue of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union and the changes that its exit will bring about.
CzechInvest represented the Czech Republic, which was one of three Central and Eastern European countries to take part in the conference along with Poland and Romania. CzechInvest CEO Karel Kučera participated in a debate panel together with Minister of Development and Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki of Poland and former Romanian Secretary of State Manuel Costescu.
The conference was held in the form of several panel discussions, each focused on a particular topic such as fundamental issues in the area of trade, workforce mobility and cross-border regulation, European economic trends and the post-Brexit investment climate.
