A sold-out screening of this year’s First Man, a film about the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon, was held at Kino Pilotů in Prague on Friday, 16 November 2018. Three witnesses of the age of space exploration shared their memories after the screening. The viewers, most of whom had not yet been born at that time, basked in the words of astronaut Oldřich Pelčák, who, together with Vladimír Remek, underwent spaceflight training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, publicist and author Karel Pacner, who followed the Apollo 11 mission from Florida as editor of the daily Mladá fronta, and the current director of the Czech Space Office, Jan Kolář, who was one of the commentators of Czech Television live broadcast of the landing of the first man on the Moon in 1969.
