Also this year the Czech Republic was represented at the traditional supplier forum for the aerospace industry, which takes place every two years in Montreal. Due to the Covid pandemic, the event was held in a hybrid form and the Czech delegation participated both virtually and physically.

The Czech Republic had a national booth represented by the Embassy in Ottawa and CzechInvest agency onsite and Czech companies Aero Vodochody, Devcom, Certicon, and Uptim.ai joined the virtual program and B2B platform. The participants had a chance to attend a one-day Global Supply Chain Summit where the industry leaders were discussing post-pandemic recovery including the necessity of closer cooperation with startups, leveraging best practices of digital supply management, and how to ensure future growth in line with the increasing need to tackle climate change.

In the following two days, Czech representatives attended prescheduled meetings with over 100 co-exhibitors from different countries with a predominance of Canada and the USA to discuss existing partnerships and new business opportunities.
