In mid-March 2018, the Czech company Ackee won a tender to provide a new mobile application for the German Bundestag. The proposed concept overcame competition from several German firms. The main factors in the tender were not only the price, but also the idea behind the proposed concept and its quality.
The application will offer, for example, live streaming from sessions of parliament, information on deputies and committees, news and an archive of articles pertaining to the Bundestag.
Ackee, which ranks among the biggest mobile-application developers in the Czech Republic, was established in 2013 and opened its German branch in 2017.
