Central European Tech Start-ups, a meeting of twenty start-ups from the Visegrád Four countries with local investors, took place at the headquarters of PwC in London on Thursday, 27 September 2018. The Czech Republic was represented by the start-ups Expando, FeedYou, SureVPN, VRgineers and Yieldigo. Prague Startup Centre nominated them to participate in London based on their successes to date and their ability to assert themselves abroad.
The meeting was attended by Levente Juhasz, a representative of Google’s London branch. In the course of the early evening event, all of the start-ups underwent training on basic information about the British market and on how to attract London investors. During an informal reception, they also had the opportunity to learn about the London start-up scene.
The meeting between Central European start-ups and London investors was organised by CzechInvest’s foreign office in London together with the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
