The gates of one of the world’s biggest mechanical-engineering trade fairs are reopening after two years. Starting on 18 September 2017, EMO Hannover 2017 will welcome more than two thousand exhibitors and 140,000 professionals in the field of mechanical engineering.
The Czech Republic will be represented by CzechInvest together with the Association of Engineering Technology. The agency’s representatives will be available at stand D63 in hall 16.
“The industrial machinery segment is traditionally one of the strongest sectors of Czech mechanical engineering. We are glad that we can present and promote Czech firms on a foreign market right here in Germany,” says Barbora Račan, CzechInvest’s foreign representative for the D-A-CH region.
Czech firms offer a complete portfolio of mechanical-engineering products, from industrial machines, turbines and gearboxes to agricultural equipment. Most of these products are exported to European Union countries, of which Germany receives the largest share. The many Czech firms exhibiting at the trade fair include, for example, Fermat, ČKD Blansko, Dormer-Pramet, Gearspect, Šmeral, Škoda MT, Tajmac-ZPS, TOS Čelakovice, TOS Hulín and TOS Varnsdorf.
“This year we are focusing on investors, companies with potential projects with higher value added, which can push the Czech Republic toward higher productivity. As a traditionally industrial country with strong representation of various engineering segments and precision mechanics, the Czech Republic can offer know-how, a skilled workforce, adequate infrastructure and cooperation in the area of science and research capacities,” adds Milan Kilík, mechanical-engineering sector manager at CzechInvest.
