The Fast Track project is an accelerated procedure for internally transferred employees and statutory representatives of foreign investors. The essence of the project is achievement of time savings in connection with the process of migration of foreign investors’ employees and statutory representatives.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade prepared the Fast Track project in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project is the result of an agreement between the aforementioned ministries and is one of the measures arising from the Strategy for International Competitiveness of the Czech Republic approved by the Government of the Czech Republic.
The anticipated benefit is acceleration and improvement of the migration process of statutory representatives, managers and key specialists from countries outside of the European Union to branches located in the Czech Republic. The project is intended exclusively for established foreign investors that have been operating in the Czech Republic for at least two years. In the event that a Czech company fulfils the prescribed conditions, the given foreign national can receive a residence permit (long-term visa, employee/blue card or internally transferred employee card) within the accelerated process.
Inclusion in the Fast Track project, including administration of the application, is carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. When necessary, CzechInvest issues recommendations for inclusion.
