The traditional annual seminar for embassies and foreign chambers of commerce took place last week at the Prague headquarters of the CzechInvest agency. The event was attended by nearly 40 participants, including ambassadors and other high-ranking directors and representatives of various institutions.

"Foreign chambers of commerce and embassies are an important partner of the CzechInvest Agency not only in terms of joint assistance to foreign investors, but also in connecting Czech and foreign companies. Together we create suitable conditions for international cooperation on technologically advanced projects," said Petr Heczko, Director of the Analytical and Information Department at CzechInvest.

The main focus of the seminar was to inform the participants about the latest developments in CzechInvest and its partner organisations - the Agency for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (API) and the Association for Foreign Investment (AFI). The aim of the meeting was to discuss the development of trends in foreign direct investment, priority sectors, visa policy, results of the RIS3 project, the Technology Incubation project, investment incentives and the activities of foreign offices. It was also presented how the CzechInvest agency has advanced in data processing and data visualisation.

At the very end there was a networking session where all participants had the opportunity to meet in person, discuss the topics and arrange future cooperation.
