In its shared exhibit with the Moravia-Silesia Region at the MIPIM fair in Cannes Ostrava presented its science-technology park together with Excellence Center IT4Innovations (IT4I) and three brownfields (Karolina, Lower Vítkovice Region, Ostrava-Hrušov). Ostrava Magistrate spokeswoman Andrea Vojkovská stated that the Moravia-Silesia Region complemented the offer of investment opportunities with industrial zones Nad Barborou, Krnov–Červený Dvůr and Kasárna, development localities in Frýdek-Místek and projects for research, development and innovation. The attention of investors was also attracted by industrial zone Mošnov, which includes a new multimodal logistics center.
