Two seminars with representatives of Korean companies and government institutions took place in Seoul, South Korea, on Wednesday, 23 March 2016. The seminars, which were focused on foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, were held under the auspices of Tomáš Husák, the Czech Republic’s ambassador in South Korea. Organised by CzechInvest and the Association for Foreign Investment, the events were attended by more than 80 foreign guests.
The main objectives of the seminars were to present the Czech Republic as an attractive destination for Korean investments, provide information on the Czech investment environment and present trends in key sectors of the Czech and Korean economies.
Korean companies had a unique opportunity to become more familiar with the Czech market and to learn more about possibilities of cooperation with Czech firms and institutions. Cooperation between the two countries is continuously growing and CzechInvest’s representatives are establishing contacts with new Korean firms and potential investors.
