From 9 to 11 April 2018, CzechInvest will hold a series of conferences in Prague, Brno and Ostrava focused on start-up business on the American market. Representatives of Czech start-ups that have penetrated the US market will discuss how to start doing business in the United States and the barriers that must be overcome in the early stages.
The experienced founders of the renowned American accelerators Venture Out and US Market Access Centre will share their experience with Czech start-ups and speak about the fundamental differences between doing business in the Czech Republic and in the United States. The discussion on the early stages of doing business across the Atlantic will be led by Markéta Havlová, head of the Start-Ups Department at CzechInvest.
The event on Monday will take place at Impact Hub in Prague. Speakers will include Alfredo Coppola (US Market Access Centre), Brian Frumberg (Venture Out), Lenka Kučerová (StarLift) and Jakub Plas (STRV).
The discussion on Tuesday will be held at the South Moravian Innovation Centre in Brno. Alfredo Coppola (US Market Access Centre), Brian Frumberg (Venture Out), Tomáš Posker (Oscar Senior) and Zdeněk Svoboda (GoodData) will appear at the event.
Wednesday’s event at Impact Hub in Ostrava will again feature Alfredo Coppola (US Market Access Centre) and Brian Frumberg (Venture Out), as well as Michal Valta (viaGoood).
