According to an analysis made public by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ), total R&D spending was growing from CZK 38.14 bln in 2005 to CZK 72.36 bln in 2012. The R&D spending formed 1.88% of GDP in 2012. Expenditures flowing from business entities abroad have been growing since 2005. The sum reached CZK 1.39 bln in 2005 and grew to CZK 7.13 bln in 2012.
