The American software and industrial company Honeywell is a long-time partner of CzechInvest.
The company opened its first sales office in Prague in 1962, followed by a laboratory in Prague in 1993 and a design center in Brno in 2003. At the beginning of this year, the company announced its plan to build a research center in Brno that will be focused on warehouse automation and the space program.
The new center will thus be equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software and provide jobs for dozens of highly qualified professionals. The technology specialists at the Brno facility will focus particularly on designing conveyor belts, sorting systems, and robot palletizers, as well as several other technological innovations.
This state-of-the-art facility will help to satisfy the growing European demand for faster and more precise supply chains. In total, Honeywell currently employs more than 2,500 professionals in the Czech Republic and received multiple awards in the past in the Investor of the Year competition, which was held annually by CzechInvest until 2017.
