On Thursday, 1 September 2016, the Japanese company Panasonic AVC Networks Czech, s.r.o. celebrated twenty years of operation in Plzeň. With Japanese and Czech management in attendance together with representatives of state and local authorities, the company summarised its successful activity in the Czech Republic to date. The celebration was also attended by Japan’s ambassador to the Czech Republic, His Excellency Tetsuo Yamakawa.
The flat-screen television manufacturer was also wished further success by the head of Panasonic’s television division, Masahiro Shinada, the general manager of the Plzeň plant, Yasunari Anan, Plzeň mayor Martin Zrzavecký and Karel Kučera, CEO of CzechInvest, which brought the Japanese investment worth more than CZK 4.3 billion to the Czech Republic.
